Exhibition by Gina Hochstein

The body is to the landscape as the brooch is to the dwelling, here jewellery becomes architecture that can be worn. Body and human scale are central to both architecture and jewellery and there is a complex relationship of ‘wearing’ that connects both jewellery and architecture. When scale and human form are clearly identified, the symbolic meaning of form becomes palpable and tactile.
